DAY BY DAY ITINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi arrival – city tour

Welcome to Vietnam!

Upon arrival, local tour guide will pick up and transfer to the center. Check-in hotel (Standard check-in 14.00). Afternoon, we will walk around Hanoi Old Quarter and visit Ngoc Son Temple located on the Hoan Kiem Lake (the “Sword” Lake). Overnight in Hanoi (D)

Day 2: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi

Today depart for Hoa Lu with 2 hours driving. The capital of Vietnam from 968 AD to 1010 AD during the Dinh and early Le Dynasties is Hoa Lu, which however has left its legacy in the form of two small temples, each one nearly a thousand years old. The next stop of our trip is Tam Coc which is surnamed "Inland Halong Bay". We take a boat trip on a river through the quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by limestone formations to the grottoes of Tam Coc. Drive back to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Day 3: Hanoi – Halong overnight on cruise

Drive around 03 and a half hour to Halong, where you will take an overnight cruise to the far-most corners of the bay. Activities are subject to change due to cruise selection and weather conditions. Sightseeing usually includes visiting underground caves on the islands which involves climbing up and down lots of step. Overnight in Halong Bay (B/L/D)

Day 4: Halong - Hanoi

Spending the morning sailing through Halong Bay. After an early brunch, we will disembark your cruise and return to Hanoi. Free time at leisure to go shopping by yourself. Overnght in Hanoi (B/Br)

Day 5: Hanoi departure

Free at leisure until the tour guide pick up and transfer to airport for departure flight (B). End of services!

Check-in time is 14.00 and check-out time is 12.00 noon.
All tours and transfer are arranged in private basis (Vehicle & tour guide)
The itinerary of Halong Cruise will change according to your chosen cruises.
Meals are arranged as basic set menu (USD 8 per meal per pax) and served at the local restaurant.
All tours normally start 08.00am or 08.30am and end around 12.00 noon (for half day tour) & around 17.00 or 17.30 (for full day city tour). All extra hours will lead to surcharges from suppliers so we highly recommend the customers to discuss with local tour guide if they want to adjust the timing to avoid any complaints afterwards.
Dinner time will be served around 02 hours only (Extra charge will be applied for all services after 22.00) because tour guides and drivers need to be recharged after full day tour and be ready for next day tour. We long for your kind understanding!
About TIP policy, the tour guides and drivers will provide the full day services for you from early morning until late morning so the small amount for their hard working is very appreciate. Kindly check the policy as below:
- Group from 1 pax – 5 pax: Minimum USD 6/guests/day
- Group from 6 pax – 10 pax: Minimum USD 4/guests/day
- Group from 11 pax up: Minimum USD 3/pax/day
